General Description
Galapagos Master, locally known as Deep Blue, is a 32-meter scuba diving liveaboard vessel that underwent a complete interior refit to the highest standards in 2015. Constructed from steel, the vessel boasts stability and speed due to its design being lower. Recently refurbished in early 2023, Galapagos Master offers 7 and 10-night itineraries, covering top dive sites in the Galapagos.
Accommodating 16 divers per trip, the vessel prioritizes safety and comfort. It features eight air-conditioned cabins across three decks, each with a private en-suite bathroom and ample storage. Some cabins offer flexibility, allowing for twin or double occupancy.
Communal areas include a spacious indoor lounge for relaxation and entertainment, equipped with a plasma screen TV. The indoor dining area offers delicious meals, complemented by a cocktail bar. Photographers benefit from the indoor camera set-up station and additional storage drawers.
The top sun-deck provides a space for sunbathing and enjoying the Galapagos scenery, while a shaded upper level offers a relaxed atmosphere with cushioned lounge chairs and benches.
Galapagos Master holds an official license for diving activities in the Galapagos, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Safety features include GPS, VHF radios, satellite communication, life rafts, emergency oxygen, and an AED, guaranteeing total protection and safety for travelers

Itineraries
Master the Galapagos (7 – 10 nights)

Our Galapagos itineraries involve some long-distance travel and, whilst we attempt to ensure the number of dives we have scheduled is fulfilled, bad weather and other factors can hinder the boat’s ability to reach a specified dive site in good time. Due to the strength of currents, the last dive of the day must be made with plenty of daylight to ensure your safety and that of your fellow divers. Therefore, there are no night dives.
Number of scheduled dives:
- 7 nights: up to 18
- 10 nights: up to 27
To allow our guests to explore the Galapagos to its fullest, we organise two island tours as part of the itinerary:
- North Seymour Island where we watch iguanas, blue-footed boobies and other bird and land life.
- Highlands of Santa Cruz to see Giant Tortoises in the wild
Your Cruise Director will schedule 3 or 4 dives per day except on the days when land tours are offered when there will only be 2 dives in the morning. The following is an example of the day-to-day schedule.
Day 1: Embarkation between 14:00 and 14:30 followed by introductions, boat and safety briefings and lunch. There will usually be a shallow check dive scheduled in the afternoon.
Day 2:
- Full breakfast and dive briefings
- Dives 1 and 2
- Lunch
- Afternoon land tour of North Seymour Island
- Dinner
Days 3-6 (7 nights) / Days 3-9 (10 nights):
- Full breakfast and dive briefings
- Dives 1 and 2
- Lunch, relaxation and dive briefings
- Dives 3 and, where possible, dive 4
- Dinner
Day 7 (7 nights) / Day 10 (10 nights):
- Full breakfast and dive briefings
- Dives 1 and 2
- Lunch
- Afternoon tour and disembarkation
