General Description

The Santa Fe III Yachtt is a mid-sized, first-class vessel measuring 15 meters in length and 4.75 meters in width. It can accommodate up to twenty passengers, with a crew of four and two certified naturalist guides from the Galapagos National Park. Designed for day tours around the nearby islands of Santa Cruz, the yacht provides a comfortable and enjoyable experience for exploring the rich biodiversity of this unique paradise. Our day tours cover four uninhabited islands within the Galapagos National Park, specifically Bartholomew, North Seymour, South Plaza, and Santa Fe Islands. These excursions include sightseeing, hiking, and snorkeling opportunities.

Itineraries

Bartholomew Island

Available: Thursdays and Sundays

Itinerary:

  1. 08:15 AM – Itabaca Canal / Boarding
    After a 50-minute drive to Itabaca Canal, board the yacht in groups. Safety instructions will be provided.

  2. 08:40 AM – Departure to the Island
    Begin your journey to Bartholomew Island after security checks.

  3. 11:00 AM – Arrival at the Island
    Prepare for disembarkation and hiking.

  4. 11:15 AM – Disembark and Visit the Island
    Hike to the summit of an extinct volcano to admire breathtaking landscapes, including the iconic Pinnacle Rock.

  5. 01:15 PM – Snack on Board
    Enjoy fresh snacks prepared by our chef.

  6. 01:20 PM – Snorkel Time at Sullivan Bay
    Snorkel in Sullivan Bay, located just five minutes away, and spot Galápagos penguins, sea turtles, white-tip sharks, rays, and other marine wildlife.

  7. 02:20 PM – Return to the Yacht

  8. 02:30 PM – Lunch on Board
    Relish a meal of fresh fish, salads, rice, and dessert.

  9. 03:00 PM – Return to Santa Cruz / Itabaca Canal

  10. 05:00 PM – Return to Puerto Ayora
    Disembark and board our shuttle back to your hotel.

  11. 05:45 PM – Arrival at Hotel

North Seymour Island

Available: Wednesday and Friday

Itinerary:

  1. 08:00 AM – Pick-up
    Pick-up starts at designated hotels in Puerto Ayora.

  2. 09:15 AM – Itabaca Canal / Boarding
    Board the yacht and receive safety instructions.

  3. 09:40 AM – Departure to the Island
    Start your journey to North Seymour Island.

  4. 10:30 AM – Arrival at the Island
    Prepare for disembarkation.

  5. 10:45 AM – Disembark and Visit the Island
    Explore the Palo Santo forest, red-colored soil, and spot blue-footed boobies, frigate birds, and sea lions.

  6. 12:45 PM – Return to the Yacht

  7. 01:00 PM – Lunch on Board
    Enjoy a meal of fresh fish, salads, rice, and dessert.

  8. 02:00 PM – Snorkel at Las Bachas Beach
    Snorkel at Las Bachas Beach and spot sharks, fish, and flamingos.

  9. 03:15 PM – Return to Santa Cruz / Itabaca Canal

  10. 04:30 PM – Return to Puerto Ayora
    Disembark and board our shuttle back to your hotel.

South Plaza Island

Available: Monday and Saturday

Itinerary:

  1. 09:15 AM – Itabaca Canal / Boarding
    Board the yacht and receive safety instructions.

  2. 09:40 AM – Departure to the Island
    Begin your journey to South Plaza Island.

  3. 11:10 AM – Arrival at the Island
    Prepare for disembarkation.

  4. 11:25 AM – Disembark and Visit the Island
    Explore the island’s unique landscapes, including the red sesuvium carpet, and spot sea lions, land and marine iguanas, and a variety of sea birds.

  5. 01:25 PM – Return to the Yacht

  6. 01:35 PM – Lunch on Board
    Enjoy a meal of fresh fish, salads, rice, and dessert.

  7. 02:00 PM – Departure to Snorkel Spot
    Travel to Punta Carrión for snorkeling.

  8. 03:15 PM – Snorkel Time at Punta Carrión
    Snorkel and discover marine wildlife.

  9. 04:15 PM – Return to Santa Cruz / Itabaca Canal

  10. 04:30 PM – Return to Puerto Ayora
    Disembark and board our shuttle back to your hotel.

Santa Fe Island

Available: Tuesday

Itinerary:

  1. 08:00 AM – Meeting Point
    Meet at the entrance of the Catholic church in front of the main pier in Puerto Ayora.

  2. 08:10 AM – Gus Angermeyer Pier / Boarding
    Board the yacht and receive safety instructions.

  3. 08:35 AM – Departure to the Island
    Begin your journey to Santa Fe Island.

  4. 10:30 AM – Arrival at the Island
    Prepare for disembarkation.

  5. 10:45 AM – Disembark and Visit the Island
    Hike through the giant cactus forest and spot endemic land iguanas, sea lions, and various birds.

  6. 12:45 PM – Return to the Yacht / Snack on Board
    Enjoy fresh snacks prepared by our chef.

  7. 01:00 PM – Snorkel Time at Barrington Bay
    Snorkel in Barrington Bay and spot sea turtles, rays, sea lions, and more.

  8. 02:00 PM – Return to the Yacht
